There are plenty of good universities in Sweden. Studies are usually in Swedish but there are many English programmes available as well. There are no tuition fees for EU citizens. Student selections are based on IB final exams (betygsurval). Application is twice a year. It is possible to apply up to 12 University programs. Graduating DP students application deadline is usually mid-April. However, please check each university website for individual instructions. There are some Universities that require earlier application and sometimes the application is directly to the university and rolling admission (e.g. Jönköping Business programs)

There is a shortage of student housing especially in the largest cities of Sweden. Students planning to continue their studies in Sweden are advised to look into housing details early in their application process. Check with your university first. Some universities guarantee student housing for international students but some don't. Regional housing agencies and private housing companies often have separate queue systems and the earlier you sign up for the queue, the better.
