Hi, my name is Jordyn Jennings. I am a rising senior at Drew Charter School in Atlanta, Georgia, and an enthusiastic, ambitious student with a passion for psychology, criminology, and medicine. I’m a second-degree black belt in Tang Soo Do and the youngest lead instructor in the Georgia Tang Soo Do Association, where I empower students of all ages through martial arts. As a Girl Scout for nearly 12 years and now an Ambassador, I’ve developed strong leadership skills and a deep commitment to service. In addition to my leadership and martial arts work, I have always had a musical side. I have participated in chorus, explored the harp, and performed in musical theater. I’ve played The Wiz in The Wiz and Iris Kelly in FAME. I also love cartoons, especially SpongeBob SquarePants, and for my Sweet 16 I threw a full SpongeBob costume party where my friends and I dressed up as our favorite characters and celebrated with games, music, and themed foods. I’m passionate about science and medicine, and I hope to attend Spelman College to become a forensic pathologist, using my skills to make a meaningful difference in the world.
My goal for the 2025-2026 school year is to get all A's, at least a 95%, throughout all classes, and to maintain a 4.0 GPA. My current personal goal is to try to become more fluent in Spanish. In the future, I aspire to attend Spelman College, major in psychology on a pre-med track, go to medical school, and become a forensic pathologist working in a governmental or investigative setting where I can help bring truth and justice to light through science.
