Community Service

To volunteer means to give back to your community. When I say community, I am not limiting the word to just the people living in your geographic area. Community can refer to a group of people with similar characteristics, interests, goals, attitudes, etc. Drew requires us to volunteer for at least 100 hours during our high school career because it gives us students the opportunity to explore interests outside the classroom, discover new passions, create new relationships that can help us in our future, and push us to simply give back to the community that has given so much to us. Because of this mindset, I have earned over 300!!!
