This Monday and Tuesday my class and I hosted the Immersive Experience. My partners and I created a blue mermaid dress with a sweetheart neckline, glitter gloves, and a glitter train, as well as a jumper with a sea shell lined top and bell bottoms. Both paired with jellyfish-inspired umbrellas. For the jumper we were inspired by the beach and tried to recreate that scenary within the jumper and for the dress we were inspired by mermaids so we tried to make the dress very sparkly and magical. We made them by cutting out different silhouettes of paper and enhancing them by adding things like glitter, sequence, and shells. I'm most proud of the cute sparkles on the dress and I think we could have improved on the uniformity of the paper cutout on the jumper.
Here is my Malian Empire App. This project is a collaboration of Literature and Composition and Digital Technology. I read the story of Sundiata, the Lion King, and then I researched the Empire of Mali. I researched different Malian foods, different Malian tourist spots, and Ancient Mali. I used that information to create this app in Code.org.
In our Digital Technology class Mr.Kitchen, our teacher, required us to make a choose your own adventure or personality app. I decided to make a personality app. I coded all the screens and buttons in code.org then added visuals using the internet. Here is my final project. Feel free to take the quiz and discover your personality trait.
On the week of August 5th, my class and I were asked to research social media content and then determine which platform we want to use to attempt to gain followers and views. I chose the platform instagram. I decided I was going to make modeling content. I took photos of my friends Anabelle and Mattie from various angles to create images like the ones you see on the bottom of the screen.
