Objective

Teachers will be able to describe how the gradual release model and small group instruction works to ensure that all students are actively engaged in the learning process.

Student Mass Training Activities Directions

After reading the objective, read the topics that will be covered in this section.  Read the reflection questions for your Zombie Survival Guide at the bottom of the page.

The four pages that follow this page will provide videos and information about Explicit Direct Instruction and options for small group instruction.  Watch all videos on each page and read through the information and the research provided.  This information will help you to complete the reflection activities.

After you complete the two major sections (Explicit Direct Instruction and Gradual Release Small Groups), you will need to complete the reflections in your electronic notebook.
