A message from Principal Santos ...
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week!
When our Teachers enter this Solar Trailblazer world, they become a part of a powerful force of unstoppable changemakers. In this family, our strength comes from our ability to lift each other up and help each other shine. Sometimes this support may look like empathy and celebration. Other times, it may look like honest feedback, clarity and constructive encouragement to push our colleagues to grow into who they were meant to be.
Our staff's dedication and commitment to our students' success are commendable, and we are fortunate to have such talented and passionate educators who truly create the energy and joy of our school community. We owe them a debt of gratitude for their hard work, creativity, and flexibility! Thank you to all those who have helped us celebrate our teachers! I encourage everyone to join me expressing your gratitude for their invaluable contributions to our school and our children's lives.
Ideas to celebrate your teacher this week:
Write your teacher(s) a card with specific reasons why you think they're amazing.
Find a flower on a walk or in your garden.
Create a piece of art that demonstrates a way that your teacher helps you shine.
Bring your teacher one of their favorite treats!
Thanks to your generous donations to PTA and support of events like our carnival, our PTA has a full schedule of appreciation for teachers including breakfast, lunch, and more surprises this week. If you have a gift card or in-kind gift you'd like to donate for our raffle, please drop it by the front office.
HAVE AN INCREDIBLE WEEK!

At Solar Prep for Girls our uniform policy includes a very specific dress code. We believe that if a student is dressed for success they will feel confident which positively impacts academic performance. Our hope is that our uniform creates a sense of pride for our school and our school community. We appreciate your support in ensuring your student comes to school dressed appropriately and ready to engage in learning.
We will continue providing feedback to students out of dress code to ensure a safe and inclusive environment.
