A message from Principal Santos...
What a wonderful start to 2024 we have had. We are so grateful for the wonderful experiences we have had thus far and look forward to what's to come. There is a LOT of new information in this edition. Thanks for reading everything carefully!
Cookie season is in full swing and there is still time to sign up to sell cookies if you didn't get to pick up during the first round. See flyers below and email SolarGirlScouts@gmail.com for more information.
Parent conference sign up will begin this week and they will take place through the first week of February. My expectation is that conferences are ongoing throughout the year, but if you have not had a chance to check-in with your childs teacher or you have any questions, please reach out. Call the front office or email our parent liaison eoden@dallasisd.org if you have any questions. We appreciate your support!

IT'S COOKIE TIME!!
For families that wish to sell Girl Scout Cookies, and have not signed up, or for families who are currently selling and are running low on inventory - there is ONE more opportunity to order cookies!
ORDER DUE: Monday, January 29th.
COOKIE PICK-UP DATE: Friday, February 2nd.
Pick up will be at Solar after school. Sign-up slot times will be emailed to you after we receive your order.
If you have not already completed a permission form you will need to do this first: Permission Form
Don't forget - Orders are Due January 29th! Happy Cookie Selling!

Solar Peace Pantry
What is the Solar Peace Pantry?
The Solar Pantry is a parent-run volunteer organization that provides free food, toiletries, and children's books to fellow Solar families. The Pantry has weekly hours when Solar families can pick up food. The Pantry also organizes the Solar Uniform Swap as well as other events throughout the year.
Where is the Pantry located?
The Pantry is located on the northwest side of Solar Boys' campus, behind the cafeteria. Look for the parking lot on Monarch Street.
