A message from Principal Santos...

Thank you for all the love I have received for National Principal's Month! I truly appreciate this amazing Solar community and I could not imagine doing anything else!

As many of you know, Dr. Bernardino is now the Associate Superintendent of OTI and Region 5. Which means instead of overseeing 14 schools, she is now over all of the magnet/transformation schools in Region 5 which is about 50 schools (including Solar Girls and Boys)! We congratulate her on her achievements and welcome our new ED, Dr. Jameile Choice! We hosted him this week at Solar and are eager to welcome him to our Solar Family!

Solar Peace Pantry

What is the Solar Peace Pantry?

The Solar Pantry is a parent-run volunteer organization that provides free food, toiletries, and children's books to fellow Solar families. The Pantry has weekly hours when Solar families can pick up food. The Pantry also organizes the Solar Uniform Swap as well as other events throughout the year.

Where is the Pantry located?

The Pantry is located on the northwest side of Solar Boys' campus, behind the cafeteria. Look for the parking lot on Monarch Street.
