YEARBOOK UPDATE:
Our parent volunteers are anticipating yearbook delivery for late June. However, once they've been received, those who ordered will be contacted to arrange a summer pick up time. They will also be available for pick up at Meet the Teacher events in the fall.
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
I hope that summer is off to a great start! I want to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for another awesome year. I so appreciate all of the kind words, the encouragement and support you have provided to us all year long. It truly does take a village to do the most important work there is. Each day we take pride in educating the future of our communities and we couldn't think of a better community to serve. With so much happening at the end of the year, I did not get to share all the amazing images we captured of the end of year events, so I have added them below! This summer we are going to be working hard to ensure that everyone has access to Bright Times and that we can go back to both email AND remind and will be updating the remind groups.

SUMMER OPPORTUNITIES
Registration is open for a FREE summer arts camp at the Latino Cultural Center! Ages 11–14 will work together over the course of the full-day, 3-week camp to create a multidisciplinary gallery exhibition and performance for friends and family. Register now for a discounted rate to play basketball or baseball with other Solar scholars! Registration deadline is May 29.
Once again Solar will play through the YMCA, and here are a few reminders:
This is a discounted registration fee just for Solar families; please don’t share the link.

List your scholar in her current grade level.
Parent volunteers are needed to coach, and each coach/team will determine its practice schedule.
Basketball season is June 10-July 29 (games on Saturdays).
