We had an incredible STEM extravaganza today with the Perot Museum! Scholars had an amazing time with the variety of hands-on activities and further insight into possible STEM careers for the near future.
It's also Spirit/Homecoming Week, hooray The intent of the house committee was to create a spirited week of unity. Students may wear a mum if they have already purchased one but our expectation is that the focus of Friday is house spirit and wearing any piece of clothing or accessory that represents their house!

NO SCHOOL ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH DUE ELECTION DAY!
NO CLUBS will be held on Monday, October 24th or Tuesday, October 25th due to Parent Conferences.

Register now for a discounted rate to play basketball or futsal with other Solar scholars! Registration deadline is November 15.
Once again Solar will play through the YMCA, and here are a few reminders:
This is a discounted registration fee just for Solar families; please don’t share the link.
Click on the link and look for Basketball Youth - Solar and Futsal Youth - Solar.
Parent volunteers are needed to coach, and each coach/team will determine its practice schedule.
Basketball season is December 3 - January 28 (games on Saturdays) and is for ages 3-14.
Futsal season is December 4 - January 29 (games on Sundays) and is for ages 3-14.
