PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Spring has sprung! We are excited for the the learning and growing our girls have made this year and this is the time of year where we really get to enjoy some of the fruits of our labor. Now that the clocks have sprung forward - we get to enjoy a little more daylight! I hope that we all get an opportunity on at least one day of the week to enjoy some time outdoors to explore evidence of new beginnings that the season has brought.
We will be sending out the intent to return form this week on remind. It will be due April 15th. Please take some time to fill it out so that we are able to plan accordingly for August.
Let's have the best week yet!!
MARCH MATH MADNESS!
This month we have engaged in our own March Madness Math tournament! Our focus is math fluency! After Sisterhood Circle each day, all scholars participate in math fact fluency challenge. Students are celebrated when they are able to “Beat the Buzzer." Check your newsletters to see which facts your trailblazer is working on to support them at home! The tournament will last from March 21st - April 8th!
SPRING CLUBS BEGAN TUESDAY!
It was so much fun seeing all the new clubs in full swing yesterday! We are excited to provide engaging enrichment opportunities for our 3rd-7th grade trailblazers. It is not too late to sign up!!
Most clubs meet from 4:00-4:45pm and Tennis meets from 4:00-5:50pm on their designated days. (See the visual on the left for each club's meeting days.)
For new club members, Ms. Seagroves emailed all parents who complete the Google Form prior to Spring Break and a paper permission slip will be sent home on Monday, March 21st indicating your scholar's club assignment. If you wish to switch to a new club, there are still a few spots available and you can use THIS FORM to sign-up.
Remember that club pick-up time must be adhered to - and failure to do so, will result in removal from a club. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Ms. Seagroves at bseagroves@dallasisd.org. We appreciate your support!
