Students will work in pairs to produce a tri-fold board that describes American immigration policy from the 1880's-1920's, 1950's-1960's, or propose a future immigration policy.

Objectives:

• Describe key immigration policies from 1880 to the present
• Indicate circumstances that influenced changes in existing or the establishment of new US immigration policies
• Examine new and old immigration legislation and related pro/con arguments

Assessment:

The presentation will be worth a quiz grade (50 pts) and will be assessed by the entire class.
