As the final days of highschool approaches, seniors are invited to attend the annual Senior Awards Ceremony held at The Mims. This event is to spotlight, reflect, and to honor the hardwork and dedication these students have put over the years.
Students overcame difficulties but always managed to get back on track like future leaders.
“No matter how much I fell behind, I always caught back up, and told myself to never give up,” Senior Ana Garcia said.
In a world filled with challenges, students overcame academic hurdles, balancing extracurricular commitments while also having to be in society and social life.
For many students, receiving an award at the ceremony was not just about recognition, it's a moment to reminisce about the personal growth, accomplishments and hard dedication that made many sacrifices.
“I feel a sense of accomplishment, and honor that my hard work paid off in the end. I am glad that I have been able to learn throughout the years, and had many achievements,” Senior Steven Ramos said.
This has been a milestone in every senior’s life, and it is important to honor all the sacrifices and hardships that they have overcome. It is not easy balancing academics and enjoyment, but these students have come a long way.
The student navigated through numerous applications and a variety of processes to become a student that meets the honorable criteria, and above standard level.
“I was keeping up academically, I also needed to maintain good grades overall,” Senior Ruth Yamileth said.
These students have dedicated themselves, put immense effort, and perseverance had impressive results.
