Due to overcrowding of current high schools. Conroe is opening in August of 2027, Timber Mill High School. The school will be located by Stockton Junior High next to Loop 336.
Timber Mill High school is designed to fit approximately 3,800 students. Timber Mill also spent up to $307 million dollars for the new High School. The school will be featuring students from both Conroe and Caney Creek High School.
The campus is 780,000 square feet, that's going to be surrounded by an educational space, labs, an athletic facility with fields and press boxes. The name Timber Mill comes from the timber industry from the late 1800’s when it was the central founding of Conroe.
