Based on last year's data, Conroe High School is the 3rd largest high school in Texas because so many people are moving into the area.
The school’s size brings challenges to students and staff, whether it’s navigating the school, finding resources or feeling lost in crowds.
“A challenge that I face a lot is being late to class because of the crowds in the hallway,” junior Angelina Yon said.
There are some positives being a student in one of the largest high schools in Texas, it gives diverse opportunities and resources.
“The best thing about being a student here, is having a lot of friends and having helping relationships.” Yon said.
Since the size of Conroe High School is so big, that gives students more opportunities to do things that smaller schools can not do.
“The size of the school makes me feel like I have more opportunities to do things, smaller schools give less opportunities.” Yon said.
The size of Conroe High School impacts students' daily routine and routes to classes because of the crowded hallways.
“When the bell rings the hallways always fill up and it impacts my routes to class with them always being crowded making me always tardy, also I always get my steps in.” Yon said.
