Having previous experience in the mental health field, I realized that I enjoyed both the vibrancy and excitement of working in education much more than I did working in sterile hospital settings.
I became a School Counselor because I knew that I wanted to make lasting positive change in peoples lives. I was also greatly influenced by Dr. Franklin Gross, who was one of my teachers at when I was a student at Bacon Academy. His favorite saying was: "The way to find yourself is to lose yourself in something bigger..." Working in a school is that bigger something for me, and the greatest reward in the world.
On a Saturday, you'll find me...Doing long distance bicycling or studying to complete my 6th year administrative leadership degree from Sacred Heart University.
