Why I became a teacher...I had a U.S. history teacher in high school that made everything we studied come alive! His enthusiasm for the subject was infectious and energizing, making it relevant and meaningful in contemporary America. It was magical, and I wanted to do that for other teens. I shifted into library science because I enjoyed integrating new, digital educational technologies and resources into my classroom. I saw other teachers struggling with this shift, and I wanted to help teachers and students make the leap successfully.
On a Saturday, you'll find me...If I'm not Facetiming with my grandsons, I'll be walking around Colchester, exploring my adopted community, or at my sewing machine quilting.
