Why I became a teacher...I always wanted to be a math teacher since I was in third grade. I always enjoyed helping my peers with their math in school. Once I became a teacher, my passion turned to leading a school so I could establish a climate and vision that is best for all.

On a Saturday, you'll find me......hanging out with my family...or golfing...or doing woodworking...or doing landscaping and gardening!

Amy Begue, Assistant Principal

Why I became a teacher...I started my career in education as a mathematics teacher because I felt strongly that I wanted to help every student feel comfortable with math. I became an administrator later in my career with the goal of helping create an entire school community that helped all students prepare for healthy, successful lives.

On a Saturday, you'll find me...gardening, hiking, or sailing with my husband.

Why I became a teacher...Initially, I went to college with the intention of being a social worker. However, during my internship, my experience led me to believe the way to make a true impact on our world was through education.

On a Saturday, you'll find me...Rising early to read my book before my son wakes up. Then, our family spends the rest of the day on an adventure of some sort. Common activities include kayaking, riding bikes, and swimming.
