When I was in high school, I told my Dad who was a teacher, that I wanted to be a teacher. I wanted to teach French since I was fluent in the language. He said teachers work a lot of hours and don't get paid that well. I went to college for social services. Fast forward decades, I started to sub in a local high school and loved it. At 47, I completed the alternative route to certification for FCS and here I am. I love teaching students how to do things they will need to know for themselves as adults.
On Saturday, you'll find me...with my grand-kids and my puppy outside enjoying the time we have together.
