Visit to Ushaka
While the inclement weather of late might have put a dampener on our Grade 7s spirits as they headed off to UShaka Marine World, there was no stopping the Grade 7 crew from hours of fun in the… well, rain. In typical Clifton fashion, despite rain, wind and thoroughly unpleasant conditions, the children had great fun on the water slides. With a magnificent picnic, thanks to the Capitol team, they had plenty of energy to burn, and made the most of every second at UShaka, arriving back at Clifton a little damp and tired, but in good spirits to enjoy their final Senior Primary Carol Service.
Leavers' Service
A bittersweet moment, Thursday morning saw the Grade 7s taking leave of the school at our Leavers’ Service. With a poignant reminder from Mr Prinsloo to ‘be the butterfly’, we are sure that the Grade 7s are well-prepared for high school, and life beyond our gates. In return, the Grade 7s gifted the school with 43 indigenous trees, representing each Grade 7 child. These will be planted as part of our 100-Year plan, and near the stream which the Grade held so dear.
