Remembrance Day - 11 November

Monday the 11th November's assembly provided an opportunity to remind the school of Remembrance Day, with a poignant message on its origins and significance. With a brief focus on wars currently raging globally and their effects, it was clear that the underlying themes of peace, reconciliation and hope landed. When the school bell rang at 11 o'clock, on the 11th day of the 11th month, the moment's silence observed on campus gave us all a moment to reflect on our individual responsibilities in our global village. Lest we forget.
