Pre-Primary Wet 'n Wild - 25 November
Our Wet 'n Wild Gala was a tremendous success! Our Grade 0 children proudly showcased their remarkable progress in the pool, demonstrating improved swimming skills and water safety practices. Despite occasional weather challenges, their enthusiasm and dedication shone through, making this journey all the more rewarding.
Throughout the term, we emphasised water safety while ensuring the children had fun in the pool. Engaging activities like blowing bubbles and practicing freestyle techniques helped build their confidence and control. We also introduced backstroke, focusing on muscle relaxation and trust in their buoyancy.
Swimming is about more than mastering techniques, it's also about enjoying the water. Vibrant pool toys and props added excitement, while upbeat music kept spirits high. The Wet 'n Wild Gala celebrates our dedication to creating a positive, enjoyable swimming environment. We are incredibly proud of our Grade 0 children and their progress. With water safety as our priority and a focus on enjoyment, we are confident each child will continue to thrive both in and out of the pool.
