Mrs. Julie Ricketts

Hello Bothwell Families! I am so excited for this new school year, which will be my 29th year in education and my 3rd year in Celina ISD. I am honored and excited to be part of this amazing community, serving as Bothwell’s assistant principal. I am originally from Louisiana, where I taught for 18 years before moving to Frisco, Texas, and serving as a teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal.

My husband, Gareth, and I have 23 year old twin boys, Brennan & Brewer, who graduated from Baylor University in May of 2025, so we yell “Sic ‘Em, Bears” while also staying true to our Louisiana roots with “Geaux Tigers”. 

I can’t wait to see all of our Bothwell families and begin the greatest year ever! Go Bobcats!
