Welcome to our Class!

Hello! My name is Peyton Crain, and I am so excited to be your child's first-grade teacher this year! This will be my fourth year teaching and my first year at Bothwell Elementary. I previously taught first grade for two years in North Carolina and second grade for one year in Prosper ISD.

I earned my Master's degree in Teaching from Kansas State University, and I am passionate about helping students learn, grow, and develop a love of learning.

Outside of school, I stay busy with my son Baylor (3) and my daughter Tatum (7 months). As a family, we love spending time outdoors and exploring nature together. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports and movies, baking, and reading a good book.

I am looking forward to getting to know each of my students and their families and partnering with you to make this a successful and memorable school year. I can't wait to meet everyone and begin this exciting journey together!

6:15-7:00 (M-Z)

Please bring your student supplies if you have them. They do not need to be labeled.

Weekly Folder

Every Thursday, your child will bring home their "Thursday Folder" with important school and district information. Please ensure your child returns this folder every Friday.

CLASS DAILY SCHEDULE

Our students attend a different specials class each day for 50 minutes . Students need to wear sneakers every day to safely participate in P.E. or bring them to change into.

Lunch money may be added to your child's lunch account online on the School Cafe site.

Please provide a healthy, dry snack for your child to eat in class during snack time and a water bottle that can be easily refilled.

Change of Clothes

Please keep a Ziplock back of extra clothes in your child's backpack in case they have an accident at school or get dirty and need to change. Label the bag with your child's first and last name. Please make sure to swap out the clothes to fit the changing weather.
