My name is Emily Brown and I am honored to serve as one of the First Grade teachers this upcoming school year. This will be my 9th year in education and my third year in Celina ISD. I have previously taught 4th grade and 2nd grade in Houston, Texas and 1st grade in Frisco, Texas. 

I grew up in a small town in rural Iowa and graduated from Iowa State University. I moved to Texas in 2018 after teaching English overseas in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time outside by the pool, watching sporting events, reading, and traveling with my husband. 

I look forward to partnering with you this school year and can't wait to celebrate all of your child's accomplishments! 

Every Thursday, your child will bring home their "Bobcat Folder" with important school and district information. Please ensure your child returns this folder every Friday.

Please keep a Ziplock back of extra clothes in your child's backpack in case they have an accident at school or get dirty and need to change. Label the bag with your child's first and last name. Please make sure to swap out the clothes to fit the changing weather.
