Welcome to Second Grade!

My name is Maggie Reed, and I am excited to be teaching second grade at Bothwell Elementary! This will be my second year at Bothwell, and I’m looking forward to another great year with our students and their families.

I graduated from Austin College, where I earned both my bachelor's degree and my master's degree. Go Roos!

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, reading, and hanging out with my dog, Daisy.

I am so excited for the upcoming school year and can't wait to meet everyone! I look forward to working together to make this school year the BESt year yet!

This year our class will be using Class Dojo! Class Dojo is great way to see all of the amazing things your second graders will be doing throughout the year. 

The parent sign-up sheet will be provided at Meet the Teacher!

Thursday Folders will be sent home weekly, on Thursdays, with graded work, school flyers, and important class reminders. Please check the folder each week and return them to school the following school day.

Please keep a Ziplock back of extra clothes in your child's backpack in case they have an accident at school or get dirty and need to change. Label the bag with your child's first and last name. Please make sure to swap out the clothes to fit the changing weather.
