My name is Shonda Chiotti, and I am so excited to begin my third year teaching our sweet first graders at Bothwell Elementary! This year marks my ninth year in education.

I grew up in Texas and graduated from the University of North Texas. My husband, Ryan, and I have been married for 16 wonderful years, and we have two amazing teenagers—Tristan (14) and Avery (12). Our family loves to travel and spend time with our two Bernese Mountain Dogs, Balto and Willow.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading nonfiction, creating scrapbooks, and listening to podcasts on a variety of topics.

In our classroom, we are a family. My goal is to help each student discover their unique strengths, develop confidence, and find joy in learning. Together, we'll move mountains and soar to new heights!

Every Thursday, your child will bring home their "Bobcat Folder" with important school and district information. Please ensure your child returns this folder every Friday.

Please keep a Ziplock back of extra clothes in your child's backpack in case they have an accident at school or get dirty and need to change. Label the bag with your child's first and last name. Please make sure to swap out the clothes to fit the changing weather.
