My name is Shonda Chiotti and I am so excited to begin my 2nd year at Bothwell teaching our sweet firsties! This will be my 8th year in education, having taught Pre-K, Kindergarten and First. 

Texas is where I was born and raised, graduating from UNT. My husband, Ryan and I just celebrated our 15th Anniversary. We have a son, Tristan (13) and a daughter, Avery (11). Our family loves to travel, watch football and spend time with Balto and Willow, our two Bernese Mountain Dogs!

When I am not teaching, I love to read, bake, craft and listen to podcasts. 

Our classroom is a family where we move mountains and encourage each other! My goal is to show students they can soar in what they put their mind to and find joy in everything! 

Every Thursday, your child will bring home their "Bobcat Folder" with important school and district information. Please ensure your child returns this folder every Friday.

Please keep a Ziplock back of extra clothes in your child's backpack in case they have an accident at school or get dirty and need to change. Label the bag with your child's first and last name. Please make sure to swap out the clothes to fit the changing weather.
