Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Kelli Johnson. I’m so happy to be your Kindergarten teacher for the new school year. This will be my 20th year of teaching and my 4th year in Celina!  I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st grade and Early Childhood Special Education (Plano ISD and Allen ISD.)  I am certified in General Education, Special Education and ESL. 

My family and I moved to Celina in 2023 and we LOVE IT! I have been in Texas for 18 years but I grew up in Oklahoma.  I received my BS and Master’s from OSU in Curriculum Development (GO POKES!).  I married my high school sweetheart, Colby.  We have been married 18 years.  We have two daughters!   Meyer will be in 6th grade and Maren will be in 2nd grade. We also have a Goldendoodle named Jake! 

You will find me at Bobcat sporting events, running my girls to all of their practices and eating at all the yummy restaurants downtown! OH, and at Target! :)

I can't wait to have the BESt year with your sweet family at Bothwell!  Go BOBCATS!

Please check your child's folder each day. This will be where behavior notes, daily notes, homework helper and other information will be sent home. This is also where you will send notes to school. 

Please keep a Ziplock back of extra clothes in your child's backpack in case they have an accident at school or get dirty and need to change. Label the bag with your child's first and last name. Please make sure to swap out the clothes to fit the changing weather.
