My name is Andrea Silva and I am so excited to be a part of the First grade team! This is my 10th year teaching and my second year at Bothwell!

I was born and raised in Kansas and went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for college. I met my husband in college and we moved to Florida where I taught kindergarten and 1st grade. Our family moved to Celina from Florida last year and love having Celina as our home! I have two kids and a white fluffy dog. 

When I'm not teaching, you can find me exploring with my family or relaxing at home with a book. 

My goal this year is to create an engaging environment for student success and creating meaningful learning experiences for my students. I'm excited to meet my wonderful first graders! Go Bobcats! 

Every Thursday, your child will bring home their "Bobcat Folder" with important school and district information. Please ensure your child returns this folder every Friday.

Please keep a Ziplock back of extra clothes in your child's backpack in case they have an accident at school or get dirty and need to change. Label the bag with your child's first and last name. Please make sure to swap out the clothes to fit the changing weather.
