Hi! My name is Clareece Montero, and I am super excited for the upcoming school year at Bothwell Elementary! I grew up in San Antonio, Texas, where I graduated from Texas A&M–San Antonio. The 2025–2026 school year will be my 9th year teaching and my second year in Celina ISD. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade, and I’ve loved watching my students grow both academically and personally.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing video games, and going to the lake or beach. I’m passionate about creating a positive, engaging classroom environment where every student feels valued and inspired to learn. I can’t wait to meet my new students and families—it’s going to be a fantastic year!

This year our class will be using Class Dojo! Class Dojo is great way to contact me and to see all of the amazing things your third graders will be doing throughout the year. The parent sign-up sheet will be provided at Meet the Teacher!

Thursday folders will be sent each Thursday with graded work, school flyers, and class reminders. Please return Thursday Folders to school the following day

Please keep a Ziplock back of extra clothes in your child's backpack in case they have an accident at school or get dirty and need to change. Label the bag with your child's first and last name. Please make sure to swap out the clothes to fit the changing weather.
