I’m thrilled to be joining Celina ISD and the second grade team at Bothwell! This will be my 8th year in education, and I’ve previously taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. After 7 years of commuting to Frisco, I’m excited to be closer to home and part of this amazing community.

My husband and I live on a farm outside of Sherman where we share our little piece of paradise with our two huskies and two cats. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and fishing. Growing up in Mississippi, southern hospitality naturally runs deep in my veins. I believe in leading with kindness and try to instill that same spirit in my classroom—because you can never go wrong by being kind.

Math is my favorite subject to teach, and I love finding creative, hands-on ways to make learning meaningful and fun. Building strong relationships with my students is a top priority, and I can’t wait to start this new adventure as a Bobcat!

Thursday Folders will be sent home weekly, on Thursdays, with graded work, school flyers, and class reminders. Please return Thursday Folders to school the following school day.

Please keep a Ziplock back of extra clothes in your child's backpack in case they have an accident at school or get dirty and need to change. Label the bag with your child's first and last name. Please make sure to swap out the clothes to fit the changing weather.
