My name is Britany Nielson and this will be my second year in Celina ISD. I have 7 years experience in Special Education and this will be my third year as a first grade teacher. I love first grade because we get to dive deep into the mechanics of reading! I love reading and strive to build that same love in my students as well. I can't wait to be partners in your child's educational journey!

I have two amazing daughters! My oldest just finished her first year at BYU Idaho and my youngest will be a senior this year in High School! We have three adorable cats and the sweetest little weiner dog mix. The 3 of us love to travel! We have recently visited Italy, Greece and Croatia and this summer we went to Switzerland!

Every Thursday, your child will bring home their "Bobcat Folder" with important school and district information. Please ensure your child returns this folder every Friday.

Please keep a Ziplock back of extra clothes in your child's backpack in case they have an accident at school or get dirty and need to change. Label the bag with your child's first and last name. Please make sure to swap out the clothes to fit the changing weather.
