I'm a senior at Clarkstown North and this is my third year being a part of the Science Research Program. Here are some fun facts about me:
I was born in India and moved to the United States when I was two years old.
I'm co-president of North's robotics team, The 8-bit RAMs! I'm also the HR manager of a nonprofit organization, and I'm the student representative for North in the Board of Education.
I love to crochet!
I submitted my final paper to Regeneron Science Talent Search, which I will elaborate on below!
My Final Project
I submitted my final project to Regeneron Science Talent Search, and the topic of my paper was "A Statistical Analysis of Cardiovascular Disease Death Rates in the United States on the Basis of Ethnic Background and Census Area." I chose this topic because cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the United States, and I wondered if location and ethnic background could be a significant factor in cardiovascular disease mortality rates.Â
