Hello! I'm Ammar, a senior at North. My topic was Racial disparities in the care for diabetes. My main focus was on the effect of Diabetes Mellitus as an underlying cause of death from 2018-2021 based on race, gender, and region.

Sophomore Year:
I have still am focusing on the public policy aspect of Diabetes. Through CDC Wonder, I have discovered the trends and correlations between different variables and diabetes prevalence. The variables I am focusing on are: gender, race, ethnicity, and region. This topic is truly a phenomenon and I still have more to learn!
Junior Year:
Currently, I have finished my proposal form. I plan on sorting my data from CDC Wonder soon, thereby resulting in me conducting statistical analysis on the different variables tested: ethnicity, gender, region, and race. Below attached are my midyear presentation and proposal.
