Welcome to my page!
Hi! I’m Julia Dominick, and I’m currently a senior at North High School.
Since joining the Science Research Program, I’ve focused primarily on personality psychology. At the end of my sophomore year, I began a long-term project examining how the Big Five Personality Traits relate to career outcomes, satisfaction, and overall success.
With research showing that nearly 85% of people are dissatisfied with their jobs, my goal is to help individuals better understand which career paths align with their personalities, so they can find fulfillment and long-term satisfaction in their work. My survey specifically targets college students, exploring how their personalities may already correlate with their chosen majors and career interests.
In addition to this project, I also spent time studying the relationship between psychosocial factors and chronic pain outcomes, a topic I presented on last year.
Outside of research, I love skiing, thrifting, spending time with friends, and exploring the city.
