Hi! I am a senior here at Clarkstown North and this is my first year in science research. Some facts about me are that I am on student council, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, and I am very interested in studying political science and the law.
The primary focus of my research is to analyze variance within Fourth Amendment protections, specifically regarding income and racial disparities. Additionally, I am inspecting the behaviors in police officers that prompt violent or aggressive police stops and searches. Over the summer, I took a course at Columbia University titled "The Supreme Court and Major Topics in U.S. Law," which is where I developed my passion for studying discrepancies beneath the law and the Constitutional standings behind them. It gave me a formative understanding of the law that allowed me to effectively further my research in this course.
