Hi! Welcome to my page! I'm Blythe Leahy and I am in the graduating class of 2026 at Clarkstown High school North. I started off sophomore year researching the release of dopaminergic (DA) neurons in the Ventral Tegmental Area of the brain in neurodegenerative disorders! Two disorders I've been focusing on, are Alzheimers and Parkinsons disease! Recently ( mid junior year) I shifted to the role of dopamine in patients who suffered TBI to see if it plays a role in early onset Alzheimers and Parkinson's

During my junior and senior year, I published a statistical analysis on obesity and malnutrition rates amongst gender, age, race, and socioeconomic groups to Regeneron.
