For my mid- year presenation, I presented an article titled 'A Real-Time Augmented Reality System Integrated with Artificial Intelligence for Skin Tumor Surgery.' This work reflects my interest in leveraging cutting-edge technologies like augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) to revolutionize medical practices. By addressing the gap between AR and real-time environmental data, I aim to contribute to the development of innovative, interactive systems that enhance precision and efficiency in surgical procedures. Thank you!
For this mid-year presentation, an article was analyzed titled 'Evening Use of Light-Emitting eReaders Negatively Affects Sleep, Circadian Timing, and Next-Morning Alertness'. This work examines the intersection of modern display technology and the internal systems that regulate human rest-wake cycles. By addressing the gap between the spectral irradiance of digital devices and the resulting suppression of melatonin, this analysis aims to highlight the disruption caused by short-wavelength blue light. The study investigates how evening screen exposure induces a circadian phase delay and significantly increases sleep latency. Thank you!
