To access individual units, click on the Home tab in the top right hand corner of the header and use the drop-down menus only.
During the first few lessons there will also be a focus on growth mindset including video clips and discussion.
Each day the Maths lesson will incorporate a Number Talk to improve student thinking and reasoning skills.
Each week, Friday's lesson will be devoted to Number Sense work stations where students will work at their own levels on a range of number sense activities - place value, number fluency, skip counting, addition and subtraction.
Monday to Thursdays will focus on instruction of various maths topics. These may take place in the core classroom or as rotations across the year group. The focus of some topic lessons will be heavily on the development of thinking and reasoning skills. Lessons will begin with some form of review of the previous lessons.
