Everyone lie on the floor and close your eyes. Use your imagination to think about what Heaven is like. Brainstorm together some ideas of what you may be able to do in Heaven outside of our own dimensions of time and space.

The teacher will play some relaxing music whilst they read you the story Twice Mine.
Slowly go through the objects found in each of the gift boxes and link them to the story of the boy with the boat. Discuss the similarities and differences between what God has done and what the boy did.
Someone from the class will be chosen to open a gift box. Read and discuss what is inside.
Rewrite the message with I am me.
Our God is so loving and generous
Find a quiet place and go through your folded gift cards. Reflect on the messages of each page.
Write a prayer note to God about each of the gifts, thanking Him for sharing His love and generosity through that particular gift and sharing what it means for how they want to say thank you.
Finish with a class prayer.
Extension: Here is a recipe for a special "slice" that we like to call the Salvation slice, because the ingredients remind us of how God and Jesus made a plan to save us from Lucifer's (Satan's) plan to destroy the earth. Perhaps you could make it:
1 packet of crushed Arrowroot cookies Reminds us of the everyday events of our lives
1 cup of coconut Reminds us of the rough bits of life
1 cup of dark chocolate bits Reminds us of sin and the dark spots in life
1 cup of white chocolate bits Reminds us of God moments in life
1 cup of glace cherries Reminds us of Jesus (and His blood)
3 teaspoons of cocoa Reminds us of bitter things that happen to us
1 can sweetened condensed milk Reminds us of sweet things that bind us together
Mix everything together and press into a baking tray. Allow time in the fridge to set well.
Enjoy and celebrate everything God has done for you.
