Why are we doing MFA?
It is a requirement from our insurance because hackers do target K-12 educators.
Educators are often giving, in a rush, and do click on compromised links.
We’ve already had staff click links that auto sent students emails asking for their banking information for summer jobs.
Large institutions, such as schools and hospitals, have had their information held ransom, which is another reason our insurance is requiring MFA

I don’t want my phone to be confiscated
Using district provided apps helps to keep you safe.
All district apps, (such as Crisis Go, School Email, Zoom Phone) are backed up and the information is accessible by the tech dept.
I forgot my laptop
You can checkout a sub laptop. You will need to work with your building tech and they can get you a one time emergency bypass code.
