Get the most out of Zoom by integrating it with other workflows and programs!
After you have installed the extension for chrome above, you can log in to the extension by clicking on the zoom icon in your extension tray.
You'll be prompted to "Sign In with Google" using SSO off your burningman.org email address
OR
You can log in with an email address and password.
Shared accounts, or accounts where an admin is scheduling for another person, should use the latter option. NEVER SHARE YOUR BURNINGMAN.ORG EMAIL PASSWORD.
After you log in to your account you can use the large "Schedule a Meeting" button to schedule a future meeting off your zoom calendar, or you can quick start a meeting from the "Start a Meeting" drop down.
This is also where you can "Sign out" for users managing multiple accounts, or access the settings for the plugin, which we will address later on this page, and are different from the settings on your zoom.us account settings page.
For now, however, lets look at what has happened to our Google calendar:
A new button has appeared at the bottom of the create window, and in the middle of edit windows for all google calendar events that do not already have a zoom link in the description or in the location.
Clicking on the "Make it a Zoom Meeting" will automatically add meeting information to the event under the auspices of the account currently logged into the Zoom Scheduler Extension.
Meeting ID:
Choose between Automatic Randomly Generated meeting IDs, or using the accounts, unchanging personal meeting ID. We recommend Generate automatically.
Security:
This can only be changed from your Zoom.us portal.
Video:
Controls if Hosts and participants Join the meeting with their video On or Off, does not impact if users can start or stop their video after joining. Only how they come into the room.
Audio:
Recommend "Both," however if you want to prevent telephone joiners for security reasons, that can be enabled or disabled here.

Alternative Hosts:
Only Pro accounts can be marked as alternative hosts.
Other:
Checking the "Allow me to specify schedule options each time" will create a pop-up box each time you schedule a meeting, allowing you to easily customize the settings of each meeting as you go.
On the left-hand sidebar of Slack, scroll to the VERY bottom, to Apps, and click the small plus on the right hand side to "Browse Apps"
Choose Zoom.
Note that there are lots of Apps that include the word Zoom, including Zoom for Government, even if you are a member of the Govt. Affairs Department, you want the app just called "Zoom."
This should open a chat window with the Zoom App and some example commands.
