This week . . .
This week we have done a lot of fun things like, boiling a bunch of sap from some maple trees and making maple syrup. See more about maple syrup making on the Farm to School page.
This week on Wednesday through Friday we had INTERTERM which is just a week where the high schoolers play pranks on the lower schoolers (j.k. j.k.) and lower schoolers get to do really fun things that do not have anything to do with learning (kind of).
Our Interterm topic was "The A.I. Detective Agency." We learned and discussed:
How to use A.I. responsibly
Creating images with A.I. on the website Craiyon.com
How much information Google Gemini A.I. can find when we search about ourselves and other interesting things
How A.I. can be creepy when Mr. L. tricked us on the Peter Answers website
We ended our Interterm week watching the movie Wall-E while eating popcorn and drinking hot chocolate. Ask us about the movie, it was great!
In the Bethany 4th grade library in our classroom there has been many new books, including a series by Jason Reynolds. The librarians made a box for book requests so when a kid wants a book that we do not have we will be able to buy for the class.
On Friday after P.C we had library and we got to play a life-size board game called Clue.
