This week . . .
On Friday we had Read Across America Day.
On Monday we had a hot cocoa party in Art because we made and finished our mugs.
On Monday we did a really cool experiment. Check it out on the Science page!
On Wednesday in Art, we did papier mache on our ice cream cones. It got really messy.
On Friday we had a substitute because Mr. L. was in Florida watching a baseball game.
On Thursday and Friday, we had delays because of fog.
RECIPE FOR HOECAKES
3/4 cup boiled water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup cornmeal
Mix together: water, salt and cornmeal then put butter or lard or oil on your pan (which is 400 degrees.) DO NOT DO WHAT WE DID!!! We put just a little bit of oil on the pan, and our cakes were very dry!! FRY THEM!!!!! See more on our math page.
