This week . . .
On Wednesday finished the book "Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library" and we did a celebration where we did an escape room in the library, and the first person to finish the whole escape room and get all the answers correct would get a little goody bag.
And the reason we did an escape room is because the book was all about these kids who wanted to be the first to see the new library, so they entered a contest and you probably guessed it, the contest was an escape room.
Dear Families,
At Bethany, we see the incredible value of getting kids outside in all kinds of weather. This includes going outside when it is very cold. Children play uninhibited when they are dressed prepared for the weather. It is also best for their bodies to start by wearing warm clothes and then if their muscles get warm by moving their bodies, they can shed some layers. Here is a guide for you and your student to know what clothes students should be wearing to school as the weather gets colder and we see some snowflakes in the forecast!
Wearing long pants (and snow pants), boots, winter coats, and waterproof gloves will become the staples of our winter weather gear!
Thank you for helping your child be comfortable and able to play freely outside this winter!
