In ELA this week. . . 

• We all looked through a lot of pages of animals. You would pick an animal, and it would be your animal then you would have to choose an animal out of Monarch butterflies, 3 banded armadillos, springbok, and the ostrich that would be your group animal. After you choose it, you would get into that animal's group, and research that animal. If you had extra time after you were done doing the writing for that day on your animal. You would start (if you picked a different animal, some people didn't choose a different animal and just did the groups animal) researching that animal.    

• Last week we were reading a few pages from venom about snakes and somebody asked if the snake could catch us, if it was going its full speed. Mr. L. replied, "Well it could catch you but not me because I'm a lot faster than you!" Then a student said, "This is coming from a man slower than a sloth..." Then Mr. L. replied, "Ok, let's race at recess" Then the student lost the race. See video below...
