This week

• In ELA we watched a video called LOUDER THAN A BOMB!  Louder Than a Bomb is a poetry competition in Chicago. 

• Mr. L showed us a page about a poetry competition that WE can enter in! A classmate from the fourth grade a few years ago won a small prize. 

• Everyone is writing a poem about something that is important and have draft after draft until the finished product then we will read your poem to the class then talk about why this thing is important and why you chose it.

• Some of us are writing about hard thing that happens like a loved one dying and some of us are writing about a happy moment like a birthday or a celebration.
