We read chapter 6 of "The Hope Chest" and answered questions from page 12, 13 and 14 of our packet. The questions were all about the 3 small articles that we read about the Susan B Anthony Amendment (The 19th Amendment) and protesters that were picketing for the right for women to vote inn front of the white house. And we read in groups of two. Some people paired with the friends that people asked to visit.
On Tuesday we did not read "The Hope Chest" but we did answer questions from 19, 20 and 21 about the pages we read yesterday and the text we read from the packet today. And people colored a new Women of History poster for this year because last year the lamanator ruined theirs so we will try to make a better one this year with our new lamanator.
See ours in progress and theirs from last year. We finished the whole thing on Thursday afternoon it was very hard, Mr. L. and two other classmates helped him glue all the coloring pages on the paper. See picture at the very bottom of the page.
We read chapter 7 of "The Hope Chest" and answered some questions in our packet. We will finish our packet on Monday.
