In Farm to School . . .
We worked on counting the money earned from the plant sale 3 times. It took up most of our class time but for the last 10 minutes we started Mr. Friesen's oat-standing oatmeal recipe.
We went to the Morris's house and got to play on their playground. They had so many fun things to play on, we even got to go inside their conservatory. There was a bonsai tree. It was very small; it even had little oranges. The tree sort of looked like the one below. The Morris's also had a turtle and fish in a waterfall that runs through the middle of the green house.
We worked on our bread. All of the groups kneaded the dough that we made the day before. It took about ten minutes but it was hard work.
On Friday we got to see how much the bread had risen. And make it into loaves and put it in the oven. See pictures below.
