In Farm to School this week. . .
On Thursday we started planning for fall tastes lab. Every season in farm to school we do a tastes lab. A taste lab is a activity were we make a list of food that we think of when we think of that season. When we do a tastes lab Mr. Frisen lets us make most of the decisions, we have to as a class decide were, when, who we are inviting and what food we will be having. This activity is very fun and helps with building our skills for working together.😊
On Tuesday we actually baked our Indiana cakes with our maps partner!
If you brought in a cake mix and you want it nobody can take it, you get 1st dibs.
We set a timer on our iPads to make sure the cakes were baked enough, then we went outside to resses then when our timer went off we would go inside and get our cakes out of the oven and set it on a table to cool.
We will freeze our cakes then once everybody has finished the paper maps then we will get them out of the freezer and decorate them.
